Corewell Health will hold a second Heritage Hill Neighborhood Open House on Thursday, October 8, providing residents another opportunity to learn about the Butterworth Expansion Project, review updates, ask questions, and provide input.

Corewell plans to share updates following the first open house and how community feedback is informing the project. This is an opportunity to see what has changed, ask follow-up questions, and continue providing input.
Feedback from the September 10 open house identified traffic and circulation as the top concerns, followed by neighborhood parking, building height, construction impacts, helipad noise, and lighting. Residents also raised neighborhood quality, safety, historic properties, green space, and ongoing communication.

Similar to the first open house, multiple informational stations will be set up throughout the event. Residents may stop by anytime during either session and move through the stations at their own pace. The same materials will be available at both sessions.
What Corewell Continues to Study
Following feedback from the first open house, Corewell says its project team continues to evaluate several areas, including:
- Traffic, service access, parking, street configurations, and neighborhood circulation
- Neighborhood transition and green space
- Helipad noise and flight paths
- Construction impacts and property protection
- Building and site lighting
