- Comments: Frank H. Sweet was a well known resident of Grand Rapids and member of a pioneer local family. He was the son of Martin L. Sweet, one of the early mayors of Grand Rapids. Mr. Sweet graduated from the University of Michigan and Cornell. His first wife was a sister of Edward &Rowland Lowe. For a number of years, Mr. Sweet was vice-president of Butterworth and Lowe.
