501 Crescent Street NE
- Year Built: 1916
- Style: Prairie/Craftsman
- Description: 1993 Tour
- Comments: HH Home Tour 1993 write-up: This 1916 house is a typical example of the widely popular eclectic style that grew out of the Prairie school movement. It is characterized by the wide overhanging eaves and emphasized horizontal lines. Elements of the Craftsman style are also visible such the exposed rafter ends and sloped piers of the porch. As in the case with so many homes in the neighborhood, this home was built as a single family and converted to apartments in the 20's and 30's. It is unclear when it was returned to its current single family use.
