Design Plans for 50 College SE – Construction this spring

Orion Construction has finalized its development concept for 50 College SE – Heritage Place. Discussions from 6 community and block representatives meetings as well as 3 hearings before the GR Historic Preservation Commission and Planning Commission shaped this final design. It is an 84-unit mix of studio, one & two bedroom apartments (102 beds in total; 115 on-site parking spots). Orion has been very accommodating to neighbors’ concerns and suggestions within the parameters of the GR Zoning Code and property owners’ rights.

All City approvals are nearly complete and groundbreaking is expected this spring. A neighbors meeting will be scheduled prior to construction to review details of demolition and work site.
